5k Run Walk For Peace to help needy women and their families
When: April 3rd Time: Registration 7:00 am, Race starts at 8:00 am Where: Our Lady of Guadalupe Church

Details: 5k Run Walk for Peace for the Unborn:
There is a tragedy that happens everyday in LA; mothers in need are choosing abortion because there are few willing to help and support them and their families. On April 3rd, you can help these women by fundraising for East Los Angeles Pregnancy Center (ELAPC) by running the 19th annual Run Walk for Peace. ELAPC is a crisis pregnancy center whose sole purpose is to help and support these women and families. The fundraiser works by asking people you know to sponsor your participation in the race.

The 5K Run Walk for Peace is a fully timed and officiated 5k. It starts at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 4018 Hammel St. 90063 and follows a path through the hills of East Los Angeles. It is sponsored by the National Latino Peace officers Association, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, and Cristo Joven (youth group of OLG).

This event is open to all but we ask to please raise a minimum of $20 to cover the costs.

Details: Cristo Joven continues the tradition of hardwork and lots of play. Join us as we setup all the booths and the stage, run the candy and soda booths, and clean up all the while having a great time! Annual Camping trip to the Beach
When: August 19th to 22nd Time: We meet at 8:00 am Where: OLG

Cristo Joven is off to the beach this year for our annual campaing trip. We are taking off to the beach to see God's creation first hand and leave the busy world behind.
